Warning: I have never taken an Economics class. Nor did I spend my childhood in the kitchen learning how to cook at Grandma's apron strings. In fact, I never did anything domestic until I hit my third trimester with my second child. It was when I was at the grocery store, picking out something for dinner, and saw premade pizza dough for sale, and thought how fun that would be. Then I decided that it was an expensive blob of wet flour, and I could make it myself. Since then, I have spent hours googling all sorts of kitchen terms, and calling my mother to ask questions like "how do you boil eggs?" (that's right, my mom knows how to cook, I just had never asked her before...).
